Matera - Capital of Culture 2019

The historic center of Matera is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful in Basilicata, and it is no coincidence that in 2019 the municipality became “Capital of Culture,” and even earlier, in 1993, after a series of renovations to the tourist hub, it became part of the World Heritage Site.

The supply includes paving in popped paving stones Minervino Murge stone, accompanied by curbs and bands. These are laid in the main streets of the historic center including the scenic road connecting Sasso Barisano and Sasso Caveoso; Via Ridola, where we also find benches; and Piazza Vittorio Veneto for which the large fountain was also made.
